Community Spirit Is Alive and Well in North Monaghan

In the run up to his recent birthday, Tydavnet man JJ Treanor, suggested to family and friends that instead of buying him presents he would like to fundraise and make a donation to Truagh Development Association’s Meals on Wheels Service.

“During the first lock down JJ, along with hundreds of people in the north of the county were supported by our service.  We delivered hot meals, care packages and celebrated Easter, St Patrick’s Day and Christmas.  It seems like a life-time ago already”, explained Fiona, “but the goodwill the community has for our service remains and JJ’s generosity and support is testament to that”.
